Fond memories of Lucila as a co-Lion and as a "sponsor" at their golden wedding ceremonies ~ a practice considered religious as much as it is
social in the Philippines. The wedding sponsorship was very binding and kept our friendship more lasting; and somehow made us feel like we are one family.
