Date of Death: May 28, 2024
Date of Birth: February 8, 1946
Lucille P. Gooldrup, 78, of Auburn, died on May 28, 2024, at her home with her son, Eddie, by her side.
She was born on February 8, 1946, in Lewiston, daughter of Edward A. Clavet and Blanche (Thibodeau) Clavet. She attended school in Lewiston.
On November 26th, 1966, she married the love of her life, Howard H. Gooldrup Jr at St. Mary's church in Lewiston. She worked many years for Country Kitchen on Park St. in Lewiston prior to her retirement. After retiring, she spent the majority of her time spoiling her three grandchildren, Stacie, Eric and Paige. Her favorite color was purple, and she sure did enjoy many home cooked lobster dinners over the years.
Lucille will be sorely missed by her three sons, Howard Gooldrup III and his wife Doreen, Edward Gooldrup and his wife Christina, and Michael Gooldrup and his companion Joanha. Her grandchildren, Stacie Gooldrup and her fiancé Timothy Elwell, and Paige Gooldrup. She also leaves behind her sister, Annette Braxton of Lewiston and sister-in-law, Pauline Clavet of Auburn along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard, Grandson, Eric Gooldrup, Brothers Maurice and his wife Arlene Clavet, Fred Clavet and Roland Clavet and her sister, Theresa and her husband, Michael Tomasino along with some very dear friends, Bill and Lynn Millett.
Lucille's wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes spread where Howard's ashes were spread. No formal service will be performed but a gathering will be held at Ed & Chrissy's house to celebrate her life on July 13th at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.
