Mrs. Lucille M. (Adams) Ritter, 86, of Whitehall, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Bethlehem, PA.
Born May 16, 1938 in Kutztown, Lucille was the daughter of the late John L. and Grace F. (Schappell) Adams. Her husband of 54 years, Barry L. Ritter, passed away in 2015.
Lucille was a 1956 graduate of Fleetwood High School. She held secretarial and administrative positions prior to co-owning Crossroads Restaurants in Hereford and Bechtelsville with her husband, Barry Ritter. More recently, she was secretary at Providence Presbyterian Church, Quakertown and worked in Medical Records at St. Luke's Hospital, Quakertown. She also spent time serving as a volunteer at St. Luke's until retiring in 2017.
Lucille was an accomplished pianist and organist who dedicated her music to the Lord. She served as organist at Fleetwood Bible Fellowship Church, Maple Glen Bible Fellowship Church, Faith Bible Fellowship Church, Harleysville, Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Quakertown, and Rock of Ages Bible Fellowship Church, Whitehall. She also loved listening to music, going for drives on country roads, and she cherished her community and friends made in her years living at Fellowship Community.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, LuAnn B. (Ritter) Batista, Fleetwood, and Lorie L. (Ritter) Corallo, wife of Joseph P. Corallo, Naples, FL, her grandchildren, Eric B. Pyne, companion of Kathryn Wentzel, Reading, Anthony R. Batista, companion of Cassie Kiebach, Fleetwood, and Grace K. Batista, companion of Gabby Rhodes, Port Carbon, her great-granddaughter on the way, and by her siblings, Jensen L. Adams, widower of Sandra L. Adams, Fleetwood, Jesse L. Adams, husband of Carol A. (Knabb) Adams, Fleetwood, Doreen S. (Adams) Obarow, wife of Nick Obarow III, Wyomissing, James L. Adams, widower of Kathleen M. Adams, and companion of JeAnn L. Trois, Leesport, and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Lucille will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Zentz Community Center at Fellowship Community, 3000 Fellowship Dr, Whitehall. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Zentz Community Center. Burial will take place in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
