Lucille Wolfe, 95 of Harvey, ND died on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND where the visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Memorials are preferred to the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery.

Lucille was born on March 10, 1930, near Selz, ND to Joseph and Barbara (Volk) Wiest. She attended rural school and helped her father in the fields and around the farmyard. Lucille married John Wolfe on October 12, 1948. They resided on a farm north of Esmond. Lucille and John worked side by side on the farm. They also raised livestock and she maintained a massive garden. Lucille was known for growing the largest cabbages in the area in addition to all the other produce grown. She was at her best when baking bread and buns. They moved to Harvey in 1996. John died on October 27, 2018.

Lucille enjoyed playing cards, reading, and word search puzzles. It was common to see her riding her vintage bicycle around Harvey greeting friends along the way.

Lucille was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Filmore and St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond and currently at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey.

Lucille is survived by four daughters, Carol (Roger) Nelson of Fargo, Connie (Dean) Knudson of Fargo, Frances (Rich) Aufort of Eugene, OR, Shirley (Darwin) Braunagel of Fargo; eight grandchildren, Chad McClaflin, Kelly Jensen, Crystal Rene, Ryan Knudson, Jason Knudson, Madeline Jonas, Travis Braunagel, Shawn Braunagel; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Lavina Weninger of Fargo. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Irene, Frances and Marcida.
