Cumberland – Lucinda Wanitta (Puffinberger) Rummer, 85, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home.
Born March 5, 1939, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Puffinberger and Ellie (Conners) Puffinberger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Edwin Rummer, Sr.; daughter, Barbara Boyer; granddaughter, Crystal Bennich; sisters, Katherine Brown and Josephine Bowers; brother, Thomas Puffinberger; and son-in-law, James Morris.
Lucinda was a skilled domestic engineer who loved her family.
Lucinda is survived by her children, Mary C. Lewis, James E. Rummer and partner Toni Bennich, and Laura E. Rummer and partner Rodney Ross; grandchildren, Lucinda W. Lewis and partner Matt Walters, Laura E. Smith, James E. Rummer, James C. Rummer and wife Heather, Tyson Ross and partner Alivia Smith, Anthony Rummer, James Rummer, Jr., Rayman Dye, Richard Dye, and James Dye; sisters, Laura DeAngelo and Lavina Wolfe and husband Ed; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Woods officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
