Lynette M. Moore, 68, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 26, 1957 in Portland, Oregon to the late Francis and Charlene (Moe) Purdy.
Lynette loved spending time fishing. She enjoyed playing card and board games with friends and family. Lynette was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who treasured the time she spent with her family.
Lynette is survived by her husband, Garland Moore, Jr.; daughters, Angela (Damon) Evans and Diane (Christian) Scales; grandchildren, Anastasia, Danica, Summer, Emma and Isabella; soon-to-be great-grandchild, Charlotte; mother-in-law, Alice Moore; and beloved beagle, Dolly.
In addition to her parents, Lynette was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Purdy and Matthew Purdy; and sisters, Renee Purdy, Donetta Purdy and Cheryl Purdy.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626. N. First Ave., Evansville. A Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kathy West officiating.
Burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society, P.O. Box 6711, Evansville, IN 47719-6711 or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
