Lynn Marie Battenberg

Lynn Marie Battenberg, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. She was 78 years old. Lynn was born in San Francisco, California, as a 7th generation Californian.
Lynn was the pioneer of the family. She left home at a young age and moved across the country as an early volunteer with Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA). She later became a self-made advertising executive, and eventually was a partner in her firm. She was a lover of the arts, a world traveler, and a dear friend and caregiver to many. Lynn was a kind soul who was always generous to others, and she loved unconditionally.
Lynn was predeceased by her husband, John N. Battenberg; her daughter, Lori Stewart; her sister Karen Kitchell; her parents, Robert & Katherine 'Bob & Kaye' Gonzalves. She is survived by her son, Sean M. Stewart, and his partner, Eileen Dawson, of Durango, Colorado; her bothers and sisters-in-law, John & Rita, Mark & Christine, and Peter Gonzalves; and her nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and -nephews.
