Lynn Lorraine Carmouche

Lynn Lorraine Carmouche passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on June 2, 1954, on Long Island and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating from Walter Johnson High School in 1972, she attended Texas Christian University, where she began her lifelong love for Texas.

Lynn built her early career in Dallas, Texas, and later made her home in Sugar Land. It was in Dallas where she met the love of her life, Pete Carmouche. They married on April 29, 1978, and shared 47 wonderful years together.

Lynn loved the beach and was happiest near the water. She enjoyed exploring small towns, meeting new people, and discovering their stories. Family meant everything to her-she never missed one of Eric's football games and always kept track of Trey's travels as a flight attendant. She cherished Tex-Mex dinners, had a fondness for pink and turquoise, and recently found joy in watching The Andy Griffith Show and Leave It to Beaver.

Quiet and deeply private, Lynn always put her family first. She was proud of her heritage, thoughtful in all she did, and will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warmth, and devotion. Her storytelling often took delightful detours-a trait she lovingly passed on to her son Trey.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Pete; her sons, Trey (Peter Joseph Carmouche III) of Minneapolis and Eric and his wife, Jennifer, of Katy, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Klein, Beck, Cole, and Alden; her brother, Roy Graham, and his wife, Susan, of San Antonio; and her nieces, Kelly and Polly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorraine Benton Graham Miller and Roy Graham.

Lynn's quiet strength and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
