Lynn Laughlin Obituary

Lynn was born as an only child to John and Evelyn Lynn Dixon on November 14, 1950 in Charlotte. She was a graduate of Olympic High School in Charlotte in 1969. In 1995 she married her beloved husband Robert William Laughlin. Lynn attended CPCC, worked as a programmer and ultimately a project manager for various large companies in the Charlotte area including Ivy's, Bank of America (for 20 years, which is what got her into programming), IBM, and Wells Fargo.
When Lynn was not working, she enjoyed travelling, crocheting, cherishing Christmas collectibles and decorating the yard for Halloween.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Lynn is survived by her daughter: Melissa (Brad Earman) Laughlin of Henderson, Nevada; and grandchildren, Emeline Earman and Mel Earman, both of Portland, Oregon. She also leaves behind a dear friend Charlene Moss Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A service to celebrate her life will be on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 12pm at Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home 4715 Margaret Wallace Rd. Matthews, NC with a visitation there one hour prior. Mrs. Laughlin will then be buried at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery 7407 Steele Creek Rd. Charlotte, NC 28217, following the service.
