Lynn Overlin Obituary
Lynn Overlin passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Lynn Henry Overlin was born on June 24, 1950, to Leslie E and Elsie C (Roles) Overlin in Emporia, Kansas. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Emporia, Kansas in 1968. He met Eileen C Swenson while she was attending Kansas State Teachers College (now Emporia State), and they married August 25, 1968 at the McPherson Methodist Church. Lynn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Devry University.
Lynn is preceeded in death by Eileen, and both of his parents. Lynn is survived by his three children, Lucinda K (Overlin) Schmitt and husband Michael, Wichita KS, Kyle P Overlin and wife Darla, Winfield KS, and Crystal L (Overlin) Adkinson and husband Charles, St Petersburg FL, as well as five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services for Lynn will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Neodesha First Southern Baptist Church, 2273 Ottawa Rd, at 11:00 AM under the direction of Pastor David Dickenson, with a luncheon to follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
