Lynne grew up in Wauconda, Illinois, before moving to Florida. She was an alumna of Florida State University and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Lynne's various jobs led to a lifetime of friendships, especially her friends at Cambridge Bank, the Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce and her many friends in the Ministry. Her faith and dedication to service led her to become a pastor at Messiah Park Ridge and Messiah Wauconda. Among her many professional accomplishments, she took particular pride in her work with the Monday Assistance Ministry at Messiah Park Ridge, where she tirelessly worked to help those in need.
Lynne's life was defined by her unwavering commitment to others. Whether through her ministry or her personal relationships, she brought compassion and kindness to all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband Larry and their children Julia and Sam, creating memories that will be treasured.
A devoted Cubs, Bears and FSU Seminole fan. She treasures her friends from Wauconda, Lehigh Acres, Albuquerque, Houston, Champaign, Lake Zurich, Algoma and her lifetime friendships from FSU and Alpha Gamma Delta.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Gerry's Cafe in Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Gerry's Cafe is a coffee shop which proudly employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A private funeral was held. A celebration of life will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church Wauconda on Sunday January 26th at 3:00pm. Messiah Lutheran Church Wauconda, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Rd, Wauconda, IL 60084.
