**Mae Lois Fuller: A Life Lived in Love and Service**
Mae Lois Fuller graced this world with her presence on March 2, 1937, in the community of Dunbar. She illuminated the lives of those around her for nearly nine decades before she passed peacefully on July 18, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family. Her departure leaves a profound legacy marked by unwavering devotion and unconditional warmth.
A devoted mother and caregiver, Mae Lois dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children during their formative years, epitomizing the nurturing spirit that defines a steadfast matriarch. As her children advanced into school, she transitioned into a career as a housekeeper, serving with grace and diligence for Dr. and Mrs. Kell. Her professional journey continued for many years at the Ragsdale Funeral Home, where she offered her commendable services until her well-deserved retirement from Ragsdale-Grant Mortuary.
With pride, Mae Lois graduated from Douglass High School in Marietta, Oklahoma, as part of the esteemed class of 1955, carrying with her the values that shaped her life. Her engaging personality resonated with all who crossed her path. An active member of Macedonia Baptist Church, she dedicated her time as an usher, exemplifying her unwavering commitment to serving the Lord. Her joyful spirit and enthusiasm for participation blessed every church function and community gathering she attended.
Mae Lois reveled in the company of family and friends, her zest for life evident in her signature quote: "I don’t have a husband or little to get back to; I’m with y’all." This passion extended to her love of dining out and creating cherished memories with loved ones. A regular attendee of the HFV Community Center Senior Citizens Program, she relished the camaraderie of playing bingo and the friendships fostered within her vibrant community.
Mae Lois is survived by her beloved identical twin daughters, Celicia and Felicia Fuller of Ardmore; twin siblings Denelda Kay Fuller of St. Louis, Kansas, and Donald Ray Fuller of Ardmore; her son, Steve Dewayne Fuller, also of Ardmore; and her adopted daughter, Donna Kay & Ricky Horton of Ardmore. Her legacy further extends into a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her cherished family at Macedonia Baptist Church.
In eternal rest, Mae Lois is reunited with her mother, Minnie Lee Jenkins-Anderson; father, Clarence Anderson; the father of her children, Norman Fuller; a grandson, Anthony Fuller; and her beloved siblings.
Mae Lois Fuller will forever be honored and remembered by all whose lives she touched. The visitation will be held at Kirk Funeral Home in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on July 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a family visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, July 26, 2025, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, commencing at 11:00 AM, culminating in a celebrated remembrance of a life rich in love, community, and unwavering faith.
