Sister Madglene Rowell slipped away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 to be with the Lord. Madglene Rowell was born January 2, 1947 in Darlington County to the late James Rowell and Rose Mae (Julius)Garner.

Madglene Rowell was preceded in death by her son Levern Rowell. She was one of thirteen children and is preceded in death by James Rowell Jr. Paul Rowell, Jimmy Ray Garner, Shirley Ann Garner, Betty Jean Garner, Sarah Garner, Barbra Ann Garner, Emma Simms and one sister-in-law Jean Garner.

Madglene Rowell was a faithful member of The House of God Church, Zion. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age. She served on the Senior Choir, member of the Sunday Bible School and Worship Services until her health failed. She was an activated member paying her tithes and offerings. Her family continued to pay Sister Rowells tithes and offering as she desired during her illness.

Sister Madglene Rowell enjoyed praising the Lord. She always shared the current events that was happening in the church and the community. She has been and inspiration to the church. Madglene loved God and she served God to the best of her ability.

Sister Madglene leaves to cherish fond memories: 1 daughter Stephanie Cribb: 5 grandchildren: Quashawn Nichols, Alexis Johnson, Jaquavis Legette, Travian Rowell, Laxica Rowell: 8 great grandchildren, 4 sisters: Mae Frances Wright of Georgia, Margaret Reaves, Clara (Harry) Davis, and Hazel Cooper, 1 Brother: Richard Garner all of Mullins, S. C.: 1 Brother-In-Law: Douglas Simms of Waynesville, Missouri.

Special Thanks to to her niece Jazzmyn Mack, a close friend Elanor Graham and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many family and friends.
