Roy Tyrone Rowell, 58 of Hamilton, GA died Friday August 14, 2025, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Tyrone, as most everyone knew him, was born September 20, 1966, in Warm Springs, GA the son of Johnnie Sam Rowell, Jr. and Sandra Sue Sunday Rowell. Tyrone was a Truck Driver and loved riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family when he was not on the road trucking. He was preceded in death by both his parents.

He is survived by his children Christopher Rowell and Tiffany Rowell, granddaughter Blakely Kinsington Parker, sister Nicole (Chris) Holmes, his brother Johnnie Sam Rowell, III four nieces and their families. sister Mary Layer and brothers Michael Oglesby and Bobby Oglesby, step siblings Elizabeth Garrett, Wendy Berry and Sarah Crystal Harper-Zeh and many other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date once the family has time to plan.

The family requests that flowers be omitted at this time and donations be given to Cox Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
