He is survived by his girlfriend, Gloria Elizondo, son Marcelino Longoria, Jr (Alicia Patino), daughter Debra Ann Enriquez (Joe), sister Frances Rodriguez and grandchildren Joe III (Ally), Jennifer Caldwell (Justin), Lauren and one great granddaughter, Ariana.
Among his many accomplishments were proudly serving in the United States Army. He was an accomplished musician and accordionist for several local conjunto groups making various recordings from a very young age.
He worked and retired as a Journeyman Boiler Plant Operator at both Lackland and Brooks Air Force Bases.
After retiring, he served as Usher at St. Leonard's Catholic Church for over 20 years, stopping due to the Covid Pandemic.
He loved and cared deeply for his family, animals and looked forward to casino trips in Louisiana and Texas. He will be greatly missed by many. A special thanks to Martha Barbosa, Claudia Barbosa, Brigido Garcias and Nurse Jessica from Mi Casa Hospice.
