Marci L. Zablocki, 61, Town of Maple Grove, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. The daughter of Loren "Bill" and Katherine (Schirmer) Olson was born on December 8, 1963, in Green Bay.
Marci attended and graduated from Southwest High School with the class of 1982. On May 7, 1988, she married Michael Zablocki. She worked for Carver Boat in Pulaski, Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour, and most recently was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Green Bay.
When her boys were younger, Marci was very involved with the Pulaski Youth Organization. She was involved with planning events, coaching, or being a board member; she never missed their sporting events.
Marci enjoyed kayaking, sewing, needlepointing, crocheting, ceramics, and cooking. As a family, they enjoyed cooking on the open fire pit at the house. Marci loved spending time with her family and was so proud to be a new grandma.
Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Zablocki; two sons: Josh (Emily) Zablocki and their daughter, Stevie, and Luke (Danielle) Zablocki; daughter-in-law, Abby Gruszynski; her sister, Wenda (Tim) St. Thomas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Ginny Zablocki; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Scott (Deb) Zablocki and Christine (Roger) McAbee.
In addition to her parents, Loren and Katherine, she was preceded in death by a son, Zachory Zablocki; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends are invited to gather with family at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, on Thursday, January 2, from 3-7 p.m. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. with a time for memory sharing to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to an organization that was special to Marci.
