Sigurd, Utah

Marcus Anderson was born August 22nd 1983, he passed away at home on May 4th 2025. 

He was a “Jack of all trades” known for his cooking and barbecue and the ability to make something out of nothing. He was a mechanic, a farmer, a welder, engineer, and a hard worker who was always there to lend a helping hand. 

Marcus loved camping, fishing, hiking, forging knives, doing projects around the house, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and father. 

Marcus is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kirstie Anderson, his parents Darla (Joe) Poulsen, father, Lester Anderson, mother-in-law Karen Edwards. His siblings; Christina (Travis) Stanworth, Carrie Dutson, Corrie (Justin) Killian, Jared (Beth) Poulsen, Yvette (Clint) Nelson, Chris Poulsen, Tyler (Katrina) Poulsen, and Zach Paulson; brother-in-law Kenneth Kade (Shyanna) Deaton. Children; Elijah McPherson, Taizia Anderson, Keesha Anderson, Patrick Anderson, Jessa Anderson, Hesston Anderson, Rilee Ellis, Travis (Paige) Lee, Ryan (Sierra) Lee, and two grandchildren, Everly Lee and Cirilla Lee. 

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Darlene Talbot, Marlo and Molly Anderson, Mark Snedeger, bonus son, Steven Lee, and father-in-law, Bryan Edwards. 

Memorial services will be held on May 31st at 11:00 a.m, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10 S 200 E, Richfield, Utah. In lieu of flowers, or for those who wish to offer a more direct form of support, you can donate via Venmo at @Kirstie-Anderson-83. Your kindness and support means the world.
