Margaret Gene Angerer, 39, Des Moines, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Des Moines. Maggie was born March 26, 1983 to Mark Christopher & Georgianna Gene (Halsey) Angerer.
Maggie graduated school in Des Moines, then became a homemaker trying to keep track of her two energetic sons, Phillip & Isaiah. She was their cheerleader and sports fan rolled into one for their varied sports teams. She was also the go to celebration queen, planning lavish celebrations (you name it), birthdays, and holidays.
Maggie is survived by sons, Phillip Shade III, and Isaiah Shade, mother Gigi Angerer, sisters, Hannah & Mary Angerer, brothers, Frank, Christian, & Ambrose Angerer, co-parent to Phillip & Isaiah, Phillip Shade, Jr., other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death was her father, Mark Christopher Angerer, brother, George Michael Angerer, grandparents, Frank & Dorothy Angerer, and Gene & Harriette Halsey.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Iles Dunn's Chapel, 2121 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. Augustin Catholic Church, 545 42nd Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50312. Burial at Glendale Cemetery will immediately follow.

I remember Maggie cheerfully smiling and laughing, and being silly so that everyone else would laugh as well. May her soul's journey continue in God's loving light. You have my deepest condolences.
