She was an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and volunteered for various faith-related activities including Eucharistic minister, nocturnal adoration of the Eucharist, soup kitchen and bible study. Her love of walks, baking, reading the bible, knitting, ceramics, the New York Yankees, and sharing in the good news of her family, grandchildren and nieces and nephews was only outdone by her faithful and loyal devotion to her Catholic faith and to her husband. Peggy’s family is strengthened knowing she has been reunited with her husband, her sister, Catherine, brothers, and parents, and that the Virgin Mary was the first to welcome her into the Kingdom of God.
The family would like to thank all those who have cared for her along the way. Especially the teams at Hematology Oncology Associates of the Treasure Coast and Treasure Coast Hospice.
