Margaret Dale Schoepf

M. Dale Schoepf, 85, of Stella, passed away at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was a member of Midway Methodist Church in Stella and a longtime member of Mountain Grove Lutheran Church, Mountain Gove PA. She was a nurse for 40 plus years serving her community in many different capacities. Dale had a great passion for gardening, taking care of and taking in animals, feeding the birds especially hummingbirds, love for the holidays, traveling, and caring for her family. Through her battle of cancer over the last 2 years, her husband was her constant companion and support. She left behind her loving husband of 64 years Edward Lewis Schoepf Jr., sister Susan Longcor (William), son Matthew Harvey Schoepf (Ann); grandchildren Zachery Schoepf (Karah), Christian Van Dyke, Caroline Zambrana (Albert), Matthew Powell-Schoepf, Zachary Van Dyke; great grandchildren, Peyton, Jason, Sophia, Millie, and Finley. In addition to her parents, she proceeded in death by her son Edward Lewis Schoepf III and her half-sister Betty Bevans. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 26th at 11:00 AM at the Midway Methodist Church in Stella with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
