Margarita was born in New York on July 8 1971, adopted by her beloved mother, Dr. Josephine Lapeyrade, survived by her sister, Jeanne and nephew Gavin. She graduated from Bronxville High School in 1990 and on to college at Mt Ida in Boston.
Margarita had a sharp sense of humor, infectious laugh and the kindest soul. She was the most loyal and protective daughter, sister and friend. She had a passionate love for cats, and loved her cat Shadow fiercely. Everyone who knew Margarita loved her. She will be sorely missed and was taken far too soon.
In lieu of flowers the family requests those who wish to express sympathy make a donation to the ASPCA as there will be no burial.
