The World lost a Saint and Heaven gained an Angel April 10, 2023. Marge Hastings, 98 years young, went directly to the pearly gates with her beloved grandson Ryan Hastings at her bedside.
Marge was born in Scranton, PA in 1924. She was the daughter of William and Catherine (Dolan) Clark. She survived the depression even after losing her father in 1936. Her Mother raised her and her younger sister, Shirley, with help from the Dolan Family, especially her Aunt Ceil Dolan. She survived WW2 and married Frank Hastings in 1946 after he served bravely in the South Pacific.
Marge is survived by her son, Kevin Hastings (Susan) (Williamsport, Pa), her granddaughter Brooke Hoover (Troy) (Gardners, Pa), grandson Ryan Hastings (Ashia) (Hughesville, Pa), grandson Chris Kusterer (Michele) and grandson Sean Kusterer of Maryland, and five great grandchildren Jackson and Karsyn Hoover, Elizabeth Opal and Maverick Hastings and Kara Kusterer.
Marge is predeceased by her husband Frank, her daughter Mary Catherine, and her sister Shirley Clarke.

Kevin, although I had´nt seen your mother in many years , I have nothing but fond memories of her. She would always bring Krispy Kreme donuts whenever visiting us. Always so upbeat and vibrant. You were lucky to have her for so long. Sincerest condolences
