The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ on Monday, April 28th, from 4-8 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave., Summit, NJ on Tuesday, April 29th, at 9:30 AM followed by the entombment at St. Teresa's Cemetery, Passaic Ave., Summit, NJ.
Michelina was born in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy, the daughter of the late Antonietta (nee Girolamo) and Salvatore Fiorilli. She migrated to the United States and had resided in New Rochelle, NY before moving to Summit, NJ where she had resided since 1977.
Michelina is lovingly remembered for her love of cooking and her desire to spend time with her family. She was always happy to welcome family and friends into her home where she loved preparing delicious meals and baked goods for them to enjoy.
Michelina was pre-deceased in 2008 by her beloved husband Antonio. She is survived by her loving children, Louis Ferrandino and his wife Joanne, Leonora Swanton and her husband James, and Salvatore Ferrandino and his wife Frances; her cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Jamie Swanton and Michelle, Lisa, Joseph, Christopher, and Isabella Ferrandino; her dear siblings, Lydia Chiaramonte, Doris DeMartinis, and Aldo and Leonard Fiorilli. She also leaves behind her devoted dog, Lucia.
