Maria Luisa Flores

Mrs. Maria Luisa Flores, age 63 of Elkton, passed away 1:21 a.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Services will be 12 Noon, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Christian Fellowship Flock Church, 1290 Patton Place, Oak Grove, KY 42262 with Rev. Dr. Modesto Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Fellowship Flock Church in Oak Grove, KY. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of the arrangements.

Maria was born March 23, 1962, in Guatemala the daughter of Celedonio Vasquez and Cayetana Perez. She had been previously employed at Flynn Enterprises and Refine Tile both in Elkton. Maria loved to cook for family and friends, she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She especially loved to go camping with her church family.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Francisco Flores of Elkton, her sons, Armando Flores of Elkton and Edwin Garcia of Texas, her daughters, Gabriela Colón and her husband Josué of Clarksville, TN, Marleny Flores and her husband Wiliam Reyes of Elkton, her brother, Celedonio Vasquez of Bowling Green and several brothers and sisters in Guatemala, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
