Marian Okerlene Holt-Age of 91, of Franklin, passed away August 10, 2021.
Mrs. Holt was born to the late Mary Blanche Adkins Prentice and John Andrew Prentice in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was known as vibrant and loving woman. She enjoyed entertaining, watching birds especially red birds, gardening, writing, playing bridge and most of all being with her family. She was an active member in Southern Hills Church of Christ along with Newcomers in Franklin and a member of Master Gardeners. She will be forever remembered and cherished for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survived by loving husband of 71 years Robert Holt; much loved mother of Janet Holt Dean (Barry) & Jennifer Holt Agee (Mike); cherished grandmother of Kristy Dean Crawford (Patrick), Lindsay Dean Meek (Daniel), Trina Agee Cornell (Bob), Loren Agee and Erinne Agee Holland (Jim); great-grandmother of Savannah Meek, Sawyer Meek, Addison Crawford, Ansley Crawford, Jase Holland, Olivia Holland, Connor Cornell, Nathan Cornell, Logan Agee and Keagan Agee; sister Joyce Sue Greene; many extend family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or Avalon Hospice.
A Life Celebration will be 11am, Friday, August 13th. Visitation will be 10:00am-11:00am, Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221 615-646-9292, harpethhills.com
