Hamidreza Parsa Obituary

Hamid Reza Parsa, 62, passed away suddenly but peacefully on October 8th, 2025. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, kindhearted uncle, and beloved member of the Iranian-Nashville community, who lived a life defined by kindness, integrity, and strength.

Born on October 6, 1963 in Tehran, Iran, to Habib-Allah Parsa and Zahra Karimi, Hamid spent most of his childhood with his five siblings: Monir, Amir, Simin, Azar, and Farideh and numerous cousins where he formed a life-long allegiance to his family.

Hamid studied electrical engineering at Honorastan in Iran and afterwards at the age of 26 years old moved to the Netherlands. After living there for 3 years, Hamid moved to Nashville, TN where he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.
Hamid devoted his professional career as a successful businessman sharing his passion for automobiles and entrepreneurship. He started his career at Nashville Auto Group but enjoyed his real estate investments the most with his best friend and business partner, Javid Salimi. He was recognized for his approachable demeanor, integrity, and dedication to his work. Hamid built lasting relationships with his community and customers through his warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence.

Hamid is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Salloomeh Shahin, and their children Yassi and Armin who he loved greatly and with all his heart.
Hamid embraced life’s simple joys which included walking with his best friends, attending Persian parties, and of course being by the water. He loved spending time with his family and traveling the world, especially to the beach. Hamid had a contagious laugh and affectionate smile. He was a lifelong learner, avid reader, and took pride in hard work.

May Hamid’s memory be forever and bring comfort to all who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and love will remain forevermore.
