Marie Blank Obituary

Marie, a resident of Toms River, moved here from Seaside Park 49 years ago. She was a lover of crocheting, gardening, and caring for and setting up adoptions for cats inside of her home. She enjoyed making jewelry. An avid reader, she loved reading mysteries and historical books.
Marie worked as a RN for 5 years for Deborah Heart and Lung, she was the head of support groups for this with lupus. Marie can be best described as a caring and giving person, no one ever had a bad thing to say about her.
Marie and her husband Arthur met in 1966 and married on August 19, 1967. They briefly lived in CT before returning to Seaside Park. Together they raised a daughter Susan. Together, they enjoyed attending the Ocean County Baptist Church. Marie enjoyed listening to country and Christian music. She used the term "Biblicist" to describe herself. Marie was a devoted wife, loving mother and beloved grandmother and great grandmother.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Grace Richard.
Surviving Marie is her husband of 55 years, Arthur Blank, her daughter Susan Blank, her two grandchildren, Amanda Clough and her partner Lester and Johnathan Blank- Peeples, and her two great grandchildren Evan Aguado and Leeanna Aguado, as well as many nieces, nephews, great niece and nephew.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Condolences may be shared at www.carmonabolenfh.com

Our condolences to the Blank family. Sometimes we are fortunate when people come into our lives and make a difference for the better. Marie had this influence on us. I am glad Art introduced us. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
