Obituary of Marie Ernestine LeBlanc
Ernestine LeBlanc, a retired secretary, passed away on August 31, 2024. She was 91 years old. Ernestine was born in Winthrop Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Clayton and Geraldine Rezendes. She grew up in Somerville and went to Somerville High School. After high school she went to work at John Hancock Insurance in Boston. Over the years she kept moving up until when she retired, she was an administrative assistant for one of the vice presidents.
Ernestine loved animals. She always had dogs whom she lovingly cared for. She also enjoyed games of chance. She enjoyed going to Bingo weekly and occasional trips to the casino or the horse races in Saratoga, NY.
Ernestine was the beloved wife of the late Ernest LeBlanc. She was the sister of John Rezendes & his wife Maureen of Burlington. She was the aunt of Susan Capanos & her husband John of Natick, the late John Rezendes, and late Michael Rezendes. She was the great aunt of John, Michael, Matthew, and Madison Rezendes.
Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10am at St. Margarets Church in St. Veronica's Parish, 111 Winn St. Burlington, Burial will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington.
Memorials in Ernestine's name may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 or www.mspca.org
