Marie Louise Seay, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on August 19th, 2025 at the age of 87. She was born on October 7th, 1937 in Oklahoma City and lived a life full of faith, love, and family.
At just 17 years old, she married the love of her life, Bobby Seay. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared more than 50 years of marriage. Their home was always full of laughter, love, and good food-whether at the lake, around the table, or gathered for one of the large family celebrations she loved to host.
She had an adventurous spirit, an entrepreneur at heart, and owned several retail businesses throughout her life. Above all, her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. She poured her heart into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, teaching them not only her recipes in the kitchen, but also lessons of compassion, hard work, and love. She was deeply caring, always giving to those in need, and her generous heart touched everyone who knew her.
She will be forever cherished by her four children: Bobby Seay, Jr. and wife, Shelley of Harrah, OK; Kellie Reed and husband, Randy of Kansas City, MO; Kim Jefferson and husband Carl of Del City, OK; and Peter Seay and Rachel Cox of Del City, OK. She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren: Dustin Seay, Peter Seay, II, Kristi Bobo and husband James, Amy D'Angelo, Brandon Reed and wife Kayla, Jamie Hoffstatter and husband Jerimiah, Steven Iwersen and wife Lynse, Missi Reed and husband Joe, Emily Allen and husband Brandon, Jessica Linke and husband Dylan, Elizabeth Reed, Lillian Seay, Tessa Reed and fiancé Jacob, Ella Seay, Ava Seay; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Elmer Hodgkinson.
Her legacy is one of love, faith, and family. She taught by example, always showing what it meant to love deeply, give generously, and cherish every moment together. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the traditions she passed down, the memories she created, and the many lives she touched.
