Preceded in death by parents; Bertrand and Alyce Bloomquist, sister Janet Schmidt, sister in law Sue Blomquist and niece La'Raya Almasia.
Survived by Daughter Beth (Bobby) Yates, grandson Brad Carlson (Jessica Stehler), great -granddaughter Malaya Carlson, grandson Ron Carlson (Heather), grandson Dale Carlson, great-grandsons Summit and Caliber, great-granddaughters Valo and Cedar, Brother Bud Blomquist and enjoyed family gatherings with nieces and nephews.
She loved the Lord and shared him with her daughter, family and friends. She had a career in food service. When Marilyn's mother needed more care, she stayed home and took care of her and also did childcare.
Marilyn also resided at Guardian Angels Senior Housing in Zimmerman and Elk River, MN and then at The Glen Memory Care in Buffalo, MN making wonderful memories and loving friends. Marilyn loved her cat Gracie for she was her companion. Marilyn had a loving heart for everyone.
Visitation starting at 10am with service at 11am on Saturday Novemvber 15th at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel 5125 West Broadway Crystal, MN 55429 763-533-8643
Graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens follows the service with a luncheon following the burial back inside the chapel.
