Marilyn E. Desy

Fiskdale: Marilyn E. (Peloquin) Desy, 78, of Park Circle, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23rd, in UMass Memorial Hospital-Harrington, Southbridge, after an illness.
She leaves her beloved husband of 60 years, Raoul O. Desy; her two sons, Raoul A. Desy and his wife Alison Hu of Ballston Lake, NY and Daniel L. Desy of Fiskdale; two sisters, Deanne McNamara-Trevett of Glenmont, NY and Pauline Sey of Fiskdale.
Marilyn was born in Southbridge the daughter of Albert F. and Agnes C. (Suprenant) Peloquin. She worked for many years as an Assistant Manager at Old Sturbridge Village Motor Lodge as well as a teacher's aide at Burgess Elementary School. Marilyn enjoyed writing children's stories many of which were published in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Other favorite pastimes of hers were art and gardening. She loved her family and enjoyed birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and sharing time with them.
A graveside service and burial for Marilyn will be held on Monday, April 29th at 11:00 AM in St. Anne's Cemetery, Sturbridge. There are no calling hours.
