Marion Jackson "Jack" Ramsey

Marion Ramsey Obituary Williamsport, MD Marion Jackson "Jack" Ramsey, 87, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Homewood Retirement Center Williamsport, MD.
He was born on March 24, 1938, in York, South Carolina to the late Amos Jackson and Lula Mae (Brown) Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Ramsey on December 11, 2014.
Jack was a 1957 graduate of York High School York, South Carolina.
He was employed by the Maryland Correctional Training Center in Hagerstown, MD for 17 years until retiring in 1995. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force retiring after 20 years of service.
Jack was a member of Joseph C. Herbert Post #222 American Legion Clear Spring, MD; Wayne Lodge #112 AF&AM Goldsboro, NC; life member IORM Tribe #84 Williamsport, MD.
Jack was an American Red Cross Blood donor.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He is survived by his daughter Kelly L. Hose (Alvey, Jr.) Hagerstown, MD; daughter Shannan R. Clopper (Mike) Big Pool, MD; son Larry E. Ramsey (Rhonda) Hagerstown, MD; son Scott B. Ramsey (Christine) Milford, MA; sister Scarlette L. Potter Naples, FL; grandchildren Kyle J. Ramsey, Aeron Ramsey, Brittany Hose, Morgan Hose, Brandon Blair, Jordan Blair, and Jessica Ramsey; great grandchildren Remyelle Wilson, Riley Rexrode, Tyson Elrod, and Arizona Rexrode; step grandchildren Craig Clopper, Brittany Denton, Rachel Durben, and Grayson Hicks.
Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a grandson Devin Dakota Hose and his sister Darlene Westmoreland.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6:00 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD. Military honors will be provided.
