Marjorie Bolin Obituary
Marjorie Ann Bolin, 82, of Macon, MO, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the St. Luke's Hospital in Lee Summit, MO.
Marjorie was born on March 3, 1943, in Dallas, TX, the daughter of D E and Lois (Keith) Johnston. She was united in marriage to James Bolin on February 16, 1963, in Texas.
Marjorie enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Macon, where she sang in the choir and was an organist for over 40 years. Marjorie also helped in the school district where she was a teacher's aide for many years.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, James; three children, Kathy Kephart of Columbia, MO, Tom Bolin of Kansas City, MO, Janice Bolin and her husband Scott Austin of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Dalton Kephart, Regina Bolin, Jackson Austin, and Jordan Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Johnston.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
