In addition to his mother, Elizabeth Abt of Fairfield, Ohio, Mark is survived by a sister, Barbara McCarter of Frankfort, Kentucky; one brother, Greg Abt and wife Roxanne of Fairfield, Ohio; two nephews, Zach McCarter also of Fairfield and Ryan McCarter of Frankfort; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Abt.
