Mark C. Brown, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Born in Erie on July 28, 1969, a son of Doris H. Brown, of Vero Beach, FL, and the late Carl R. Brown.
Mark was a graduate of Union City Area High School, class of 1987. He graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1990, and earned his MBA from University of Rochester William E. Simon Graduate school of Business Administration in 1992. He was the President of Clear Lake Lumber and American Made flooring for 31 years, then was self-employed and worked as a consultant for Cogent Analytics.
Mark enjoyed golfing, fishing, going to concerts, and coaching little league baseball.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tina Brown, of Waterford; two sons, Dylan and Carter, whom he was incredibly proud and thought the world of; brother, Scott Brown (Jill) of Erie; Brother in law, Mark Racop (Theresa) of Union City; sister in law, Eileen Westover (Matthew) of Anchorage, AK. Mark is also survived by his best friend, Susan Schuette, of Fairview. Her love and support the past 6 years was a true gift. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St. Erie, PA 16506.
