On Friday, October 24th, 2025, at 2:10 PM, Mark Christopher Burch passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 60 years old.
Mark battled ALS for three long years with nothing less than unwavering strength, courage, and his sense of humor until the very end. He will be remembered for his unbeatable quick wit, his great taste in music, his huge heart, goofy nature, and above all, the deep love he had for his family. Mark was unbelievably smart, hard-working, and wise, having words of wisdom or advice for any ear that needed them, friend or stranger alike.
He was the best husband, father, and friend anyone could hope for. He will be lived on and loved forever deeply by his wife, Lisa; his daughter, Deanna; his son, Mark; his daughter-in-law Jancy, his sweet cat Benicio, and so many more family and friends alike.
Mark leaves behind countless memories and stories, and it is beyond difficult to encompass how great of a man Mark was in a few sentences, so please help us keep his memory alive by sharing your favorite memories, your favorite jokes, or stories of Mark. It can be here on this page, or at a fire a few years from now.
Calling hours and visition will be Wednesday, October 29th from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 11:30am at Holy Sepulcher Cemetary, Christ Our Light Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please considering donating to the ALS organization, to help hopefully put an end to this horrible disease.
