Mark Isaac Cross

Mark Isaac Cross, age 51, resident of Collierville, Tennessee, departed this life Friday, November 17, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mark was born December 29, 1971 in Memphis, the son of Tommy P. Cross and Wanda Williams Cross. He was a packaging salesman and a University of Memphis fan. He was always the life of the party and a caring person who never met a stranger. Mark loved gardening and was an excellent cook. Mark shared these passions with those that he loved by making them meals fresh from his garden. He was also an athlete, playing baseball in high school and college and playing golf throughout his life.

Mr. Cross is survived by his wife, Carol Cross; his parents, Tommy and Wanda Cross; his sister, Wendy Simpson (Samuel); his niece, Chelsea Knox (Richard); his great-niece, Elaine Knox; and his great-nephew, Desmond Knox. He also leaves his two dogs, Bonnie and Clyde.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cross were held at 12 noon Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Dr. Albert Wilkerson officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
