Mark Bennett Kornbluth
According to Big Elk Omaha chief " Death comes, always out of season"
Mark B. Kornbluth was born March 20, 1954 and transitioned on October 31, 2022. He was in born in the Bronx and moved to Rockaway New York in 1961. He moved to Florida in 1976 where he lived until he passed. His life can be compared to a carousel ride. Many ups and downs. He was a wonderful son, loving brother and fun-loving Uncle. He Graduated Brooklyn College in 1976. He followed in his father's footsteps and worked for the United States Post office. He enjoyed going to the theater, spending times with friends, family and travel. His last great adventure was cruise in April 2022 and while he was in Honduras, he held a sloth in his arms. His fondest memories were the times he spent with his family and friends.
According to one of his friends Melissa " he left a blazing trail of happiness and love in his wake"
Cousin Marsha Green remarked how he still remembers their childhood and the good times they had. " He was my first best friend" His friend Marianne let me know how much he will be missed.
His nephew Jeffrey let me know how much he enjoyed his Uncle Mark and his silliness. How Uncle Mark would pretend to be a horse and Jeff would ride him while Uncle Mark would sing " Happy Trails"
Mark was a unique individual and would not be pigeon hold into specific role. Mark is survived by his brother, Howard A. Kornbluth, nephew Jeffrey D. Kornbluth his wife Melissa Kornbluth
A sweet dog Alfie Boe. His cousins Bruce Kerin, Robert Kenyon, Beverly Shimoff, Melanie Kwestal, Susan Green, Marsha Green and Ilene Green.
He is predeceased by his parents Selma Kerin Kornbluth and Herman Kornbluth and his grandparents Paulina Grossman Kornbluth, Harry Kornbluth, Benjamin Kerin and Molly (Malvena) Aaronsfrau Kerin.
According to the Talmud a broken cord can be repaired but there will always be that knot in the middle.
As Emily Dickinson wrote " Because I could not stop for death, he kindly stopped for me"

Mark. You were a lovely friend. You always made me laugh. And you made really good cheesecakes.
