Mark Thomas Leino, age 34 of Deerwood died Sunday, July 10, 2022 in St. Cloud. Mark was born in Minneapolis on March 18, 1988 to Tom and Brenda Leino. He graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 2006. He was currently attending St. Cloud State University. Recently he was employed at Costco in St. Cloud and previously with Graphic Packaging in Crosby. Mark enjoyed the people he worked with.
Mark loved his daughter Alice and the time he spent with her going to the playground and riding on the many scooters he bought for her. Mark also loved all things outdoors; four wheeling, cutting wood, camping and hunting. Mark had a passion for working with technology-he built a 3D printer and CNC machine that he was proud of.
Preceding Mark in death are his mother, Brenda (Everson) Leino and paternal grandparents, Carl and Fran Leino.
Mark is survived by his father and step-mother, Tom and Kary of Crosby; his daughter, Alice and her mother Britta Nelson of Brainerd; brother, David of Duluth; Step-sisters, Jessi Turney and Kiana Dusek; grandparents, Bill and Edna Everson of Brainerd; Aunts and Uncle, Lynda Everson (Steve Karels) of Brainerd; Rich and Lynn Leino of Deerwood; and cousins, Jessica Jones, Janine Berg, Elizabeth Everson and Erica Goff.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be given to his daughter for her future education.
