Mark Anthony Rowland

Mark Anthony Rowland, age 30, of Hazlehurst passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Mark was born June 23, 1993 in Charleston, SC and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church where he served as the Youth Leader. He was employed by Davis Farm and Garden and was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Chaney.
Survivors include his wife, Whitney Rowland of Hazlehurst; sons, Mark Rowland, Jr., Konner Porter, and Korbin Porter, all of Hazlehurst; father, Kenny Rowland of Hazlehurst; sisters, Heather Rowland, Renee Rowland and Ivy Rowland all of Hazlehurst; brother, Marky Rowland; father-in-law, Troy New (Vicky Varnadore) and a sister-in-law, Liza New also survives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Bohannon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Mitchell Faulk, Chris Ireland, Wendell Horton, Brian Strickland, Tyler Causey and Chris Bohannon.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
