WALKERTON – Mark G. Schall passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at St Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 10, 1966 and was 57 years of age at the time of his death.
He lived in the area most of his life and on August 13, 2022 in Plymouth he married the love of his life Michelle Faler, whom he was with for more than fifteen years. Mark most recently worked for FedEx. He was also a volunteer with U Matter 2, Inc. Mark was a loving father and grandfather who always put others before himself. Beyond that, he had a passion for working on his classic car and motorcycle. Above all, his family and work truly were his world.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Michelle of Walkerton; three sons Zack (Kelli) Faler of Tyner, Anthony (Gabby) Hughes of North Liberty and Mark E. Schall of South Bend; three grandchildren Elsie Hughes, Cole Robert Hughes and Huxley Faler; three brothers Stephen Evans of Mishawaka, Chad (Sylvia) King of Plymouth and Chat Bunton of Grovertown; two sisters Traci (Brian) McIntire of Argos and Kelly Evans of Argos. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Suzanne Schall; one granddaughter Aubree Hughes; and two brothers Mark and Don.
There will be a Visitation held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 1:00 PM EDT to 3:00 PM EDT at Rannells Funeral Home Koontz Lake Chapel. There will be no services following the gathering, as Mark's wishes to be cremated will be honored.
