Mark Trevor Sinclair, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in his hometown of South Bend, IN, where he was born on November 12, 1958, to the late Percy Carlton Sinclair and Ruth Elaine (Elmore) Sinclair. Mark's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.
A proud graduate of Riley High School, Mark's dedication and work ethic were evident from an early age. He carried these traits into his professional life, where he served as a respected manager at W J Hagerty and Sons.
Mark's passions extended far beyond his professional endeavors. He was an avid fan of science fiction movies, often quoting his favorite lines and sharing his love for the genre with anyone who would listen. His adventurous spirit shone through in his love for bike rides and exploring the paths less traveled
History was not just a subject in school for Mark; it was a lifelong interest that he explored with fervor. He had a unique talent for making the past come alive, whether recounting historical events or sharing anecdotes from his own life. His trip to China stood out as one of his most treasured experiences, where he immersed himself in the culture and history of a land so different from his own.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Erin (Nicholas) Hathaway, and son, Trevor Michael Sinclair. His sister, Carrie (Kevin) Ryan, and brother, Kirk Sinclair. Mark was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Percy and Ruth Sinclair, his son Nicholas Sinclair, and his siblings Sarla Nichols, Duff Sinclair, and Scott Sinclair.
Mark Trevor Sinclair's journey on this earth may have ended, but the stories he shared and the lives he touched will continue to resonate for generations to come.
Keeping with Mark's wishes, cremation will take place, and no formal service will be held. Palmer Funeral Home - West Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
