COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Mark Anthony Swallows, age 70, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Mark was born March 8, 1955 in Monterey, TN to the late James Ralph Swallows and Treva Stamps Swallows.
Mark was highly respected for his integrity and expertise as a contractor, electrician and plumber for over 50 years.
Mark is survived by the love of his life, Linda Farley, who was his confidant and partner for 26 years; 3 step children, Julie (Sharon) Copeland of Chapel Hill, TN, Brian (Stephanie) Bradford of Cookeville, and Barry (Macy) Bohannon of Baxter; 6 grandchildren who were totally cherished by their Papa, Lindsey (BJ) VanHooser, Braxton Bradford, Camden Bradford, Kylie Bohannon, Garrett Bohannon and Maddux VanHooser; also survived by his 2 brothers, Steve Swallows of Monterey and Chris Swallows of Jamestown, KY; and Marks three beloved doggie kids, Scout, Bacio and Ziva who miss him terribly.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie and Kendall Swallows.
No services are planned and Mark's wishes for cremation are being honored.
