Marlene C. Clair

On October 22, 2025 at the age of 84, Marlene C. "Clarissa" Clair passed away peacefully at Laurelbrooke Personal Care facility. She was the daughter of the late Christopher C. and Loretta H. Clair. She is survived by one sister, Laverne Jacobsen. She was youngest of ten siblings; Marie, Christopher, Renilda, Ronald, Loretta, Raymond, Laverne, Joseph, and Paul. She was a devout Christian. She spent much of her life in education both learning and teaching. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from LaRoche College, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Duquesne University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Slippery Rock University. She taught in many Roman Catholic and parochial schools over the course of her life. She impacted the growing minds of many students with her innovative teaching techniques. She enjoyed watching football and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed music and played the guitar, keyboard, flute, and harmonica. She will be missed and is loved by many nieces and nephews.
