Marlene Cooperider Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center on Mar. 24, 2024.
Marlene Yvonne (Call) Cooperider, age 86, passed away March 22, 2024, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born September 16, 1937, at her home to the late Delbert and Albeada Call. Also, preceding her in death are her stepdad, Vern "Junior" Andrews; brother-in-law, Jack Cooperider; and niece, Kelly Norton.
Marlene is survived by her loving husband, Paul William "Bill" Cooperider, a lifelong resident of Delaware, as was Marlene. They were married on July 7, 1958, in Delaware. Marlene would tell you that she spent the last 66 years with her best friend and the love of her life. She is survived by her three sons, Wayde (Jane), Garth and Charlie (Lynn) all of whom she cherished and was extremely proud of.
She also leaves behind eight Grandkids whom she loved dearly, and they loved her more than words can express: Josh, Kelli, Kenny (Carra), Tyler (Christine), Timmy, Wes (Stephanie), Kayla (Ryan), Ben (Ivona) and sixteen wonderful Great Grandkids and a fur baby, Brandy.
Marlene will also miss and be missed by, "The Girls", Marylou Mellen, Sandy Law, and Sandy Davis; her dear, dear friends. In addition, she leaves behind sister-in-law, Sue Cooperider; and her nieces and nephews.
Marlene and Bill had a lifetime of memories including building and operating the Corner Market in 1975 at the corner of State Route 42 & Section Line Road, traveling with the kids on family vacations, taking a 6,000-mile motorcycle trip to the West Coast, showing and breeding horses & dalmatians, collecting milk glass, going to garage sales, and buying out the flea markets while spending their winters in Florida. Marlene loved the sun and the outdoors and up until last summer, worked out in some of the most beautiful flower gardens you have ever seen.
The family invites you to come and visit at the calling hours from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
