In addition to her parents and husband Arno, she is preceded in death by one sister, Lucille (Melvin) Schreiber and their children, Ronald (Joyce) Schreiber, Marvin (Lois) Schreiber and Marilyn (Tom) Brickbauer, along with many cousins, uncles and aunts; one brother-in-law, Edgar (Gertrude) Koeser, and four sister-in-laws: Alma Schueller, Caroline (Hugo) Schreiber, Erna (Herman) Schultz and Helen Schelk Mattson, as well as a number of nephew and niece in-laws.
Marlene was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howards Grove for over 65 years, serving on various committees and offices, including the Historical committee, Ladies Aid and School Arts & Crafts.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 441 Millersville Ave. Howards Grove, with Pastor Aaron Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, April1, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.

So sorry to hear this news! My Mother told me that she had passed and said she will miss her phone calls! A very nice lady! I know Arno welcomed her with open arms!
