Marquita Northcutt

Marquita Ann Northcutt of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 75.
Marquita was born on January 19, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Edward and Martie Wyskup. She married the love of her life, James Northcutt, on March 19, 1971, in Harrah, Oklahoma.
Marquita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker, a talented beautician, a well-known crafter, floral designer, and an excellent cook. A huge fan of Elvis Presley, Marquita also had a deep love for animals-especially cats. Her creativity, kindness, and love for her family touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Mark Northcutt and wife Toni of Luther, Oklahoma, and Sara and husband Lonnie Hamby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, William Northcutt, Lanee Hamby, and Logan Hamby; her brother, Larry Wyskup and wife Kathy of Newalla, Oklahoma; and her sister, Anita McMichael of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Marquita was preceded in death by her husband, James Northcutt, and her parents, Edward and Martie Wyskup.
A Mass and Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Harrah, Oklahoma.
