Marsha Beth Weiner Goldfarb, born on August 19, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Carmel, Indiana. A devoted clinical social worker, Marsha dedicated her life to family and individual therapy, providing compassionate support and guidance to those in need.
Marsha pursued her education with determination, earning both her bachelor’s and master's degrees from Indiana University. She felt a deep calling to support individuals and families through her practice, aligning her professional aspirations with her compassionate nature. Throughout her career, Marsha became an integral member of the National Association of Social Workers and was also involved with the Tourette Syndrome Association, further exemplifying her commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Marsha was not only renowned for her professional contributions but also for her deep involvement with her community. She was a cherished member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, where she instilled her faith and values in her children. She adored baking, ballroom dancing and playing the piano.
She is survived by her three beloved children: Jonathan Goldfarb, Leib Goldfarb, and Sara (Zach) Seedorf, who carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Marsha also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Susan (Mike) Unger and Michael (Jannien) Weiner and two grandchildren, Moshe Dovid Goldfarb and Emrys Oliver Seedorf.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Joanne Weiner, who instilled in her the values of compassion and empathy that would guide her throughout her life.
Graveside services will be held at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery, 9938 Eller Road, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:00 am.
