Life as a high schooler in Stanford, IL circa 1959-63 was an intimate affair of close friendships of everyone in our little class. Two of the special personalities in our class were Martha Hovey & Dave Pippin. Martha was always an intense listener, kind & loving friend to all of us. My heart hurts to think of this world w/o her but thinking of she & Dave together again creates rays of sunshine & smiles. My deepest sympathy to Martha & Dave´s sons. May you find comfort & joy through great memories of the love she had for you both. She was such a wonderful friend! Love & prayers-Linda Wilson Rollings

Martha was my high school classmate as was her husband Dave. In school it was Martha and Dave or Dave and Martha--always the two words together. Double dating, sitting with them at a Christmas Dance, every outing was a fun event. Goodbye old friend; I know that now you and Dave are united for eternity. Gene Johnson

My deepest condolences to Marty´s family. I went to school with Marty years ago and was friends with Dave. She was an amazing woman. My sympathies.
