Martin Keith Lamberson was born on October 21, 1942, in Lafayette, Indiana, to William Earl Lamberson and Irma Bedford Bulger. He attended Jefferson High School in Lafayette and later joined the United States Army, where he served his country with distinction.

After his military service, Martin moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began the next chapter of his life before eventually returning to Lafayette, Indiana, where he would make his home.

Martin was a proud and dedicated member of Second Baptist Church in Lafayette, faithfully serving and worshiping there for over 50 years.

He is survived by his only son, Kenneth M. Lamberson; his grandson, K.B. Lamberson; his daughter-in-law, B.B. Lamberson; a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Lamberson and Irma Bedford Bulger; his brother, William Lamberson Sr.; and his sister, Joyce Rosa Lamberson.

Martin passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. He will be interred at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. In accordance with the family's wishes, no formal services will be held. May he rest in peace.

Sharon Oberlie Neal Class of 6 0

September 6, 2025

Martin Lamberson marched to the tune of his own drummer. He graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High Class of 60. 364 was a huge graduating class. Martin had A bubbling personality and quick to laughter. Most of the time trying to hide his smile behind his hand. Martin used to walk from Sunnyside down past our house and chat from time to time about classes. He was proud of his family and loved them very much. Just know he is rejoicing in heaven with the love of his life as he listens to her sing his favorite songs. Rest Well, Martin as you have served your time here on earth. Condolences to his son, grandson and daughter in law. You three meant the world to him.
